Quacky Quilts Textile Gems and Eclectic Wearables Hi, I'm Judi! However it was only when I became a young mum that i found my passion when Patchwork came into my life.

My handicraft interest started when I was just a teen and I've tried it all, crochet, tapestry, knitting you name it. Quacky Quilts was born! I am a tutor and provide a Machine Quilting Service from my studio on the Fraser Coast, Queensland, Australia. ether we have developed a great range of patterns. This led to creating my own textiles to adorn the dolls, and my interest in Textile Art was born. The sewing machine is my first love. I enjoy making the machine do what I want, not what it is programmed to do. Dabbling in Mixed Media has become part of my recent play time. I like to create a surface and build textures and dimensions. Paint, glue and paper have appeared in my sewing room and I am loving it. Who knows where I will go next. That’s part of the adventure we call CREATIVITY. Every time I sit at my work table, inspiration strikes in a different way and I head off on a new journey.
