During the upcoming eclipse, the Moon will be 100% blocked. However, it is not entirely dark. Earthlings will be able to see the Moon slowly grow darker and gradually change its color from bright white to orange red – which is why the New Moon that coincides with an eclipse is referred to as the blood moon.

Remember that the eclipse falls on the axis of the opposite signs with about a two-week interval and triggers a powerful transformation process in our lives. This year, the two corridors are on the Ta**us-Scorpio axis, which is responsible for the balance of resources and finances.

Depending on their positions in the natal chart, Ta**us and Scorpio are associated with various areas of the horoscope; therefore, changes can be manifested in various realms of our lives, however, resources, internal capacity, and transformation are the three priorities for this corridor.

Full Moon Energy

Our energy is at its peak during the Full Moon. Governed by belligerent Mars, Aries renders this energy truly explosive: some of us become quick-tempered and reckless. It is crucial during this Full Moon that we ensure a balance between our own interests and the interests of others, usually our partners and friends.

October's full Moon is in self-interested Aries. Yet, for a full moon to exist, La Luna must be directly opposite Le Soleil in the sky. And this month, the Sun in Libra, the sign symbolising aestheticism, also has something to say.

Think of it this way; the Sun faces the Moon holding up a mirror, and the Moon wants to like the reflection it sees. But while honouring your outward appearance is vital, there's a bit more to this full Moon than obsessing over your looks.
