Pocket square or traditional buttonhole?

There’s no right or wrong answer, but they do create a very different look.

Pocket square florals make more of a statement and are perfect if you want your groom and groomsmen to stand out a little more. Traditional pin-on buttonholes are always going to be timeless and classic.

One of my favourite options? Give the groom a pocket square floral and keep the groomsmen in traditional buttonholes. It creates a subtle point of difference without feeling over the top.

Or mix and match however you like. Your wedding, your rules.

Which would you choose? Tell me in the comments below!

If I was planning my wedding again, there is one thing I would never skip.

Candles.

They create atmosphere, add warmth, make your tables feel layered and transform a space from nice to unforgettable.

When couples tell me they want their wedding to feel romantic, elevated and welcoming, candles are almost always part of the answer.

Whether it’s long tables lined with taper candles, clusters of pillar candles around statement florals, or a candlelit bridal table, the impact is huge.

If creating a beautiful guest experience is important to you, don’t overlook this detail.

Are candles on your wedding must-have list?

Perfect for autumn and winter weddings, this palette pairs beautifully with candlelight and layered tablescapes.

Save this palette for your wedding inspiration folder.

Flower girl wands are one of my favourite wedding details.

They’re beautiful in photos, give little ones something special to carry, and can be designed to perfectly match your wedding florals.

A small detail that adds so much charm to your day.
And let’s be honest… the flower girl often ends up stealing the show.

Planning your wedding? I’d love to help bring all those special little details to life.

2026 & 2027 enquiries now open.

Let’s talk reception flowers.

Your reception is where guests spend most of their time, which is why reception florals play such a big role in creating the atmosphere and overall guest experience.

From bud vases and candles through to lush centrepieces, statement bridal table designs and hanging installations, there are so many ways to bring your vision to life.

This guide is designed to give you a realistic starting point based on some of the most popular reception floral designs my couples choose.

As a full-service wedding florist, I help create cohesive floral and styling designs that flow seamlessly from your ceremony through to your reception.

My minimum investment for full-service weddings is $3,000, with most couples investing more depending on the scale of florals and styling throughout their day.

The colour combination I think more couples should be considering…

Lavender + peach + white.

A combination that feels soft, romantic and a little unexpected.

The cool lavender tones balance beautifully against the warmth of peach, creating a palette that feels soft without disappearing into the background.

It’s playful, elegant and photographs beautifully.

Would you choose this colour combination for your wedding?

One of the biggest wedding planning mistakes I see couples make is having too many suppliers.

More suppliers often means more emails, more invoices, more bump-in fees, more logistics and more opportunities for things to get missed.

That’s one of the reasons I offer more than just florals.

Alongside full-service wedding florals, I can also help with styling, stationery, signage and photo booths, creating a cohesive look across your entire wedding day while making the planning process simpler for you.

Less juggling. Less stress. One creative vision bringing everything together.

If you’re dreaming of a beautiful wedding without the overwhelm, I’d love to help.

Let’s talk ceremony flowers.

One of the biggest questions couples have is how much they should budget for ceremony florals.

Whether you’re dreaming of floral meadows, statement plinth arrangements, aisle flowers or a beautiful arbour installation, there are plenty of ways to create impact.

This post is designed to give you a realistic starting point based on some of the most popular ceremony floral designs my couples choose.

As a full-service wedding florist, I help couples create ceremony florals that not only look beautiful during the ceremony but can often be repurposed into the reception too.

My minimum investment for full-service weddings is $3,000, with most couples investing more depending on the scale of florals and styling throughout their day.
