Re-enchanting & re-wilding people's lives & everyday environments; reconnecting us all with the natural world. This is our purpose. For 8 generations our family have worked

in relationship with the land close to McLaren Vale & its bounties. We are honoured to be creating local offerings that are truly "of" here & speak authentically of "this place". With our added experiences of living in Scandinavia & the Northern Hemisphere, we create offerings that truly celebrate the magic of the natural world. Our ultra-fresh materials are sourced daily from our relationships with local growers, farmers & gardeners, so your botanicals are "grown not flown". We work artistically & conceptually on all of our offerings; from daily bunches to bespoke nature sculpture offerings, & especially on the space-poetry we weave when working spatially & site-specifically (our specialty!), crafting our installation art responses & immersive event experiences. We also offer event flowers for delivery or collection through our studio front-of-house florists & artisans. We adhere to fourth pillar holistic principles, aiming beyond sustainability towards flourishing environmental, social, economic & cultural outcomes. Our studio is on the way to becoming carbon neutral. And we have recently relocated to our new home...in the oldest church & "burying ground" in Mclaren Vale, at 6 Tatachilla Road, where we will plant out the cemetery as a community & harvesting garden, to create a more welcoming place of State Heritage history for the town.

A reminder (from the sign outside our NOW CLOSED studio), in a week where many people around the world will be looking for flowers (as a symbol of their love). If in SA, support your South Australian farmers, & make the world a little better…in many ways 🌱(always ask for arrangements too).

We believe Harvest Studio raised the bar locally (& more broadly in SA), in terms of what event design & floristry could look like, when holistic & coming from an Installation Art practice…our work was always site & context led, handmade & different every time. We still believe beauty, wonder & the re-enchantment of everyday life (through connection with the natural world) matters…❤️ This place is about the visual arts being of direct service to the world…

We (finally) also wanted to thank all our incredible flower growers (& properties we were able to forage from), for the last almost 9 years of sourcing of South Australian grown & seasonal botanical wonders✨ Truly, you are stars…& making the world a more beautiful place.

I also want to thank the many hard working staff & helpers who have supported Harvest Studio on all our projects, large & small, over the years. Event design, Installation art & Floristry, ask a lot of everyone involved, continuously & on many levels… 🙏 (just ask my daughters…& thank Goodness for family!)❤️

From 2026, a continuing artist in residence project unfolds - involving The Botanical Cemetery, The Culture Garden community garden, & Glory (the development of an interactive public artwork/ museum of love (for place)), amongst other placemaking activities, cultural events & art interventions.

This is a Cultural & Environmental Regeneration project; a State Heritage site 🌱 Meyunna Yerta
