Melbourne Design Week, Amelia Barry and Louise Wilcox present ART IS LIFE. An innovative exhibition of original artworks based on this years theme “Design the world you want.”
Louise Wilcox is a mixed media visual artist. Louise’s unique art pieces are created using mirror, canvas, enamel, and resin. Through experimentation, she has developed techniques of pouring and mixing materials to achieve a free-flowing style. Her practice involves building layers and depth with mixed materials and sculpture work, resulting in abstract, emotive, large-scale artworks. Each piece is intended to evoke an emotional and passionate response, creating an atmospheric experience.
