Every Jianzhan is shaped by hand and transformed by fire. Its natural glaze creates patterns that can feel like mountains, mist, water and distant forests — a landscape that can never be exactly repeated.

True Jianzhan comes from Jianyang, Fujian, China, where this ancient craft was born.

This piece was handcrafted by artisan Lin Yuanfu.

enjoy a cozy afternoon with handmade teaware. I probably shouldn't be brewing black tea in a Duanni 段泥 Yixing teapot, it tends to darken the clay over time. But somehow, that doesn't stop me. I still love it, and every cup only makes it feel more like my own.
