✨ I may be resting, but my creative little heart clearly didn’t get the memo! ✨

Melts by Megan is still temporarily closed while I focus on my health and give myself the time I need to recover. 🩷

However, I couldn’t resist doing one little thing behind the scenes…

I’ve started bottling the last of my Sparkle Season house blends! ✨

I had already put so much love, time and creativity into creating these scents before everything had to come to a stop. Seeing them finally go into their bottles means that, whenever I’m well enough to return, I can continue from where I left off instead of starting all over again.

There’s still no reopening date, and I’m not putting any pressure on myself to set one. I’m only doing these little things when I genuinely feel up to it. 🥹

But seeing those colourful little bottles sitting there made me ridiculously happy. ✨

Sparkle Season isn’t gone…

✨ SPARKLE SEASON UPDATE ✨

I have some news that has honestly been really difficult for me to share.

For now, I’ve made the decision to pause Sparkle Season. 💗

Over the past little while, I’ve been dealing with some unexpected health issues. I’m currently undergoing further investigation, and right now my body is making it very clear that I need to slow down, rest and focus on getting well.

I won’t lie, there’s been a lot of grief that has come with making this decision.

Sparkle Season has had so much of my heart poured into it. I’ve spent countless hours creating the scents, melts, artwork, packaging and all the tiny magical details I couldn’t wait to share with you.

Having to stop when I was so excited to finally bring it all to life really hurts.

But I also know that pushing myself when my health is struggling isn’t fair to me, and it wouldn’t allow me to give Sparkle Season the love and quality I want it to have.

So this isn’t goodbye to Sparkle Season. ✨

It’s simply not right now.

When I’m well enough, I’ll pick up the glitter, the cotton-candy colours and all those little sparkly plans again. 💗🩵💜

To everyone who has been waiting, supporting me, checking in and getting excited alongside me, I am so incredibly sorry for the delay and so grateful for your patience.

For now, I need to let Megan come before Melts by Megan for a little while.

✨ I need your help deciding, Cuties! ✨

While making Sparkle Season, I had some leftover wax that I just couldn’t let go to waste… so I poured these two giant glitter hearts instead.

Well… they turned out to be the sparkliest melts I’ve ever made! ✨

They weigh a massive 110g each, they’re about the size of my hand, and because they were made from leftover wax, they’ll never be recreated. These are true one-of-a-kind Melts by Megan pieces.

Now I have a problem…

I have absolutely no idea how they should find their forever homes! 🤭

Single mum. Wax melt collector. Creator of Melts by Megan.

I’m slightly obsessed with home fragrance, kawaii things, pastel colours and turning scent ideas into original house blends.

But behind the wax melts is a woman who’s spent years learning how to rebuild herself, one small step at a time.

Life hasn’t always gone to plan. I’ve had my share of challenges, setbacks and moments where giving up would’ve been easier. Instead, I chose to keep moving forward, keep creating and keep finding little things that bring me joy.

Melts by Megan actually began as a form of therapy during a time when I was struggling. I needed something positive to focus on, something creative to pour my energy into, and before I knew it, a simple hobby had become a genuine passion.

What started as a way to cope slowly grew into something much bigger. A creative outlet, a small business, a wonderful community, and a reminder that even during difficult seasons, beautiful things can still be created.

Every melt is handmade by me right here in Melbourne, inspired by comfort, nostalgia, coziness , happiness and a little bit of cuteness with sparkle. ✨
