It’s time to formally introduce the heart and soul behind Olympic Blinds! Owners Ben and Anthea took over the business in 2017 from Ben’s parents, Jo-Anne and David who commenced operations back in 1988. Growing up in the business, Ben would spend his weekends and school holidays playing games under the workroom tables in the Edithvale factory whilst Jo-Anne and David manufactured and installed their own Vertical Blinds, amongst other products. Fast forward to today and Ben no longer sits under tables (not unless he wants to…)
He is primarily on the road visiting our clients in their homes providing advice and guidance through the creative process. Anthea wears many hats behind the scenes including technical support, project management, accounts, research and development, as well as marketing. If that doesn’t keep her busy enough, Ben and Anthea have 3 children under 5 at home! We are unsure which is busier….work or home life? On the weekends you will find Ben at the gym and Anthea squeezing in PT sessions and listening to her favourite podcasts whilst they both juggle the comings and goings of an active 5 person household.
