Loving this commission for sage green and tan to match the client’s home colour scheme. I had the privilege of delivering this today in person and seeing where it will hang. It’s such an honour to create something that will be loved for years to come.

I created this piece this week after the customer reached out to me on fb marketplace from another listing I have available, requesting to create this for her home. I did a test piece to see how I would go piping the texture paste before committing to the request. I actually enjoyed piping the paste and painting the final colours… and of course adding my fav gold trim for highlights.

I see other artists creating family or pet portraits using this method though printing the art… assuming created digitally.

What do you think about this style for textured art? Would you like to see more of it from me for perhaps a family or pet piece?

This piece has been in my creative mind since we were in South Africa a few months back. I took so much inspiration from the dramatic coast lines and mountains.

I hope I’ve done it justice and is obvious as to what famous mountain range it is.

Any guesses?

Should I also add the gold trim to the city waterfront? Or let it sit in the texture detail as it is. Let me know in the poll

Moody mountains.

I’m loving these blue shades. I’ve done a few pieces in this colour now. The original colour is actually a dark silverish navy. And all I do is add white. I love the very light shades, almost like arctic ice. My wedding dress was a light icy shade of blue as well!

What other colour would you like to see in this style? I was thinking Forrest green.

If you would like this for your home, it’s yours for $75. Otherwise we can talk colours and designs to suit your style.

Introducing my new minimalist range.

The same beach as the last one painted in colour, though now all white, showing off the textures, and simple lines highlighted in gold.

What do you think?

Continue with white/ gold or try to learn landscape painting in colour? Last slide of the colour beach for reference

The piece v’s the inspo ➡️

I def felt like I wasn’t skilled in ‘landscape’ painting as such, though enjoyed playing with the colours and textures.

I had the urge to create something late yesterday afternoon. So I used what I had and came up with this textured beach. It didn’t really take long, I think painting the water was the longest part blending the blues… and waiting impatiently for it to dry so I could get to the good part add on the textured waves!

If anyone would like it for FREE pls DM 😍

I managed to fit in creating this piece (just) before Christmas for a present for my in laws. I was literally painting in my bedroom on Christmas Eve to get it finished as they were staying with us the few days leading into Christmas Day.

Every piece I learn more texture skills, but also lessons and how I would do it differently next time. I actually changed the background colour 3x before I was happy with it… hence still finishing it on Christmas Eve. I wish I was better at colour pairing.

Anyway, they love it so it was worth it!
