Sunday & Clay Mystery DIY Clay Kits with a twist!

Winter has us slowing everything right down ❄️💗 Between colder mornings, cosy nights in, and that early school holiday energy starting to creep in, we’ve been spending more time at home pottering and making small, comforting things.

This makeup pad holder has quietly become part of our winter routine — proof that handmade bits can make even the most boring tasks feel a little nicer during the colder months ✨

We accidentally made the most wholesome desk accessory ever and now we’re emotionally attached to a clay turtle.

He’s just sitting there… holding your polaroid like it’s his life purpose 🥹

Little legs. Round shell. Tiny slot at the top for your fave memory. Tell me that’s not elite energy.

Why do I feel like he belongs on a windowsill in the sun, guarding a photo from your Euro summer or your bestie’s birthday?

Also the way air dry clay lets you shape all the tiny details with your fingers?? 10/10 serotonin boost.

Be honest — are you making one for your desk or gifting it and pretending you’re selfless?

We said “let’s make a soap dish” and somehow ended up in our abstract art era.

She’s speckled. She’s slightly irregular. She looks like she belongs in a tiny boutique where everything is displayed on raw timber and costs more than it should.

There’s something about flicking those speckles onto air dry clay that feels chaotic in the best way. No two are the same. No overthinking. Just letting it land where it lands.

Kind of like creativity. Kind of like life.
Messy. Unplanned. Still beautiful.

Now she’s sitting by the sink making our very average hand soap look designer.

We love a functional art moment.

Quick little repost of an all time fave! Winter makes us want to gift people little sentimental things, doesn’t it?

This tiny heart dish is the kind of present you wrap in tissue paper and say, “I saw this and thought of you.” It’s not loud. It’s not over the top. It’s just… sweet.

Perfect for jewellery, hair ties, random little trinkets that deserve better than the bottom of a handbag.

We love a gift that feels personal without being try-hard. Handmade always wins in winter.

Low-key thinking these would be the cutest best-friend, sister, or “just because” presents.

Winter has entered the group chat so we’ve decided we’re romanticising dinner at home.

Cue: homemade dumplings, a big bowl of ramen… and these tiny sleeping cat chopstick holders just vibing on the table like they pay rent.

Why are they so cute though??? The little paws. The closed eyes. The audacity of being that relaxed while we’re trying to perfect our soy sauce ratio.

There’s something elite about setting the table properly, even if it’s just for us. Soft lighting. Warm food. Tiny clay cats holding your chopsticks so they don’t roll everywhere.

We’re not just eating. We’re ✨curating an experience✨.

We really said… let’s make the toilet sign cute.

Because why should the loo be the least designed room in the house?

Handmade “WC” sign, slightly unnecessary, absolutely essential. It’s giving boutique café bathroom energy. It’s giving “yes we label things in this house”.

Also something about pointing dramatically at a tiny sign instead of just saying “it’s down the hall” feels powerful.

Anyway if you come over and see this on the door, just know we’ve committed to the bit.

Reposting this tutorial as we settle into that mid-year stretch where everything feels busy, a bit heavy, and in need of a reset 🍂❤️ Making something with your hands can be a quiet way to pause, reflect, and reconnect when the days feel full.

May is a good reminder that progress doesn’t always have to be loud — sometimes it’s slow, steady, and happening in the background.

It’s just a pencil-drawn check pattern on air dry clay… but we swear this little pot feels deeper than that.

There’s something about keeping it simple. No loud colours. No overcomplicating it. Just soft lines, a steady hand, and trusting the pattern will come together.

Low-key feels like relationships, doesn’t it?
Not grand gestures. Just small, consistent lines showing up next to each other until suddenly… it works.

Creativity’s kind of the same. You don’t need to reinvent the wheel every time. Sometimes you just need to sit down, draw the next square, and see where it leads.

Anyway she’s minimalist. She’s calm. She’s emotionally regulated.

We didn’t need another plant.
But did we need a tiny whale holding one? Absolutely.

This little whale planter was born during a very “stay inside, romanticise your life” winter afternoon. Heater on. Tea brewing. Clay everywhere.

There is something illegal about how cute a baby succulent looks sitting inside a whale’s back.

She now lives on the desk and honestly? Productivity has increased by at least 7%. Morale? Through the roof.

If your space needs a tiny bit of joy (and your plants deserve better housing), this might be your sign.

A day in the life of a creative usually looks a bit like this 💗 Morning emails, packing orders, juggling ideas, sneaking in a walk, and then sitting down to make something small but satisfying like this incense stand.

One of our favourite “business hacks” is breaking the day up with tiny creative wins — quick projects that reset your brain and remind you why you started in the first place. Not everything has to be big to be valuable.
