Needing Help!
Does anyone have left over scrap skin tone cotton licra fabric they can donate?
I am making scalp caps that are placed on the head prior to the wig for patients of the Peter Mac Hospital.
I would also like to sincerely thank my wonderful customers for their support and stories over the last four months.
After discovering breast cancer, having surgery to remove a breast followed by chemo, it has been a whirlwind of a journey
After listening to your stories, I realise how many others went through the same journey, some like me catching it early and some not so early.
Peter Mac is an amazing hospital, with so many caring surgeons, doctors, nurses, staff and volunteers and I want to make a small effort to make and donate these special scalp caps.
I am also making special bags with my cotton fabric and if anyone would like to come and join me, maybe we could organise a sewing bee occasionally.
