Hey everyone!

I just wanted to let you all know a little bit of what has been happening behind the scenes here at ZayZar over the last few months.

I’ve been really quiet and going through a lot in my private life. I’ve been trying to juggle so much and maybe trying to force something that in reality I just don’t have the time or mental capacity to deal with. From surgeries, juggling 2 jobs, mum to a 4yr old and a 6yr old, looking after my 87yr old grandmother and just trying to live a “normal” life just to name a few, is so incredibly exhausting. My mind is exhausted. My body is exhausted.

I have had to make the hard decision to close ZayZar bymelissa for the rest of the year and will re assess come mid Jan of 2024.
And to be completely honest I’m not even sure what will happen there after.
My grandmother is entering the stage where she will need more care as time goes on and I want to be there for her and keep looking after her in the best way possible. Which means a lot more time 🩷

I’m having THE biggest sale since I opened ZayZar with a massive 20% off. (Massive for small businesses, IYKYK)

The sale will end 11.59pm Monday 27th November aest and this is when I will be closing the Etsy store. I will then work to get all orders completed and sent out.

I would love to thank each and every one of you for the support and compassion. This wasn’t an easy decision as I absolutely love what i do.

Hey everyone!!

So since moving over to the “new” etsy sellers app on my phone, I have just found out that I had over 250 listings that had expired and weren’t visible for you to purchase 🤬

A LOT of these listings included the Halloween range and a lot of the very popular stud earring moulds.

I had noticed a slight difference in what people were ordering recently but couldn’t work it out 🫠

I can now confirm the shop is back to having all your favourite moulds available.

Irony is, is that I stumbled across this while adding a brand new keyring range to the shop! Mainly expanding the “country” theme as requested. But more about the release in another post!

Hey everyone!

I posted this on my personal Facebook and thought I would share it with you too.
I haven’t shared too much about myself directly on here because I’ve always been insecure about myself. But here is a little or should I say a lot about what I’ve been going through not only this past year but beyond that as well in terms of my health and weight loss journey.

I wasn’t happy.
I wasn’t myself.
I wasn’t healthy.
I wasn’t aware at how heavy I had gotten.
I wasn’t the best I could be for my family.
I was sick.
I was broken.

So I did something about it.

1 year ago I had gastric bypass surgery!

And it’s literally saved my life.

This past year has been extremely hard.
Mentally and physically. You wouldn’t believe the struggles that come with this surgery. It’s not for the faint hearted or those that don’t have any fight left inside. It’s been hard to navigate through mentally changing habits and lifestyle but one I wouldn’t change for the world.

Heaviest weight - 155kgs - March 2022
Surgery day weight - 139.5kgs
Current weight - 78.1kgs
Clothing size 24-26 down to size 10-12!!

61.4kgs GONE since surgery.

I couldn’t be more happy with my progress and where I am today. I have myself back inside and out and I couldn’t be more proud. I feel bloody amazing.
