The lamp features a spherical opaline Murano glass shade held within a chrome ring, supported by a curved metal arm rising from a flat circular base. A cylindrical chrome fitting projects at an angle from the top of the globe, accentuating its tilted profile. A refined example of 20th-century Italian lighting design.⁣

New Arrival: Pair of Wall Lights (model: 1822), designed by Max Ingrand for Fontana Arte, Italy, c1960s. Each light features an elongated, tapering frosted-glass shade supported by a polished chrome metal fitting. The rounded shade holder curves sinuously towards the wall, meeting a flared mounting plate in a continuous form. The reflective metal contrasts with the matte surface of the glass, which diffuses a warm glow when illuminated. A rare and beautiful example of Ingrand’s restrained approach to lighting design.⁣

New Arrival: Pair of Lounge Chairs designed by Gianni Moscatelli for Formanova, 1969. Each chair features a low, armless profile with an upholstered seat and backrest supporting separate cushions. Small metal studs trace the outer edges, while angular polished steel legs splay outwards beneath the seat. We have newly upholstered the chairs in plush Italian velvet, with the seat and back cushions covered in a textured, geometric fabric by Pepe Peñalver, Spain.⁣

New Arrival: Umbrella Stands designed by Gabriella Crespi, Italy, c1970s. Crafted from cast bronze, each stand is formed from overlapping oak leaves, with pronounced veining and curling edges. The leaves rise to varying heights around an open centre, while outward-turning leaves form the supporting feet. The textured surfaces display areas of verdigris, with metallic highlights accentuating the leaf veining. Both stands bear Gabriella Crespi’s signature on the underside.⁣

The stems combine clear glass with milky opalescent streaks, each topped with a hand-shaped, flared glass cup with gold leaf incorporated during manufacture. New Arrival: Eight-Arm Chandelier produced by Barovier & Toso, Italy, 1940s. Executed in clear Murano glass with brass fittings, the chandelier features eight curved arms arranged at varying heights, each supporting a ribbed, bowl-shaped shade with a scalloped rim. Tall rods of glass flare above the central assembly, curving gently outwards and continuing the shape of each arm. A long, spiral-ribbed glass column encloses the brass suspension rod and meets a matching ribbed ceiling canopy. An exceptional example of 20th-century Murano glass design.⁣

New Arrival: Rare Wall Lamp, model 2130, produced by Stilnovo, Italy, 1950s. Finished in cream enamel, the lamp features a long, rectangular-section arm supported by a diagonal brace and mounted on a narrow wall plate. A domed metal shade encloses a rounded opaline glass diffuser, secured beneath by a small brass finial. The arm pivots horizontally, while a chrome joint allows the shade to tilt and rotate. A loop handle provides a practical means of directing the light. The angular support contrasts with the rounded shade, giving the design a distinctive architectural character.⁣
