Oh my goodness what a show!
That was a tricky one and I felt I needed to be in lots of different places at once but I had so much help and support. Thanks to my wonderful husband, my amazing helper Sam and my parents coming from Nz to help with the little bunny.
Thank you to everyone who visited, showed me your makes!! had a chat and a laugh and picked up some goodies for crafting, and thanks to the other wonderful stallholders of shed 28! The best shed. Let's do it all again next year!

Day two of The Australian Sheep and Wool Show was a blur! So many lovely conversations so many amazing projects to admire and heaps of support for my little stall. I love this pic of us in our matching jumpers! Pattern is the cottongrass jumper by weichien 蔚倩
Last day today and im sure it will be a good one, come past and say hello if youre at the show!!

Day one at the The Australian Sheep and Wool Show and what a day it was!! I look a bit bedraggled even at the start of the day! So good to see regular faces, fabulous makes and meet new crafters! Its going to be an amazing weekend hope to see you at the show, im in the first wool craft shed at the top of the hill :)

The final packing has begun for bendigo (except for the skeins that are still drying) and in my madness I made a mushroom bonnet so I will have a mushroom baby!!
Im so excited to talk yarn and fibre and see everyone's knits and goodies! It will certainly be a year like no other for me!

I think a few things have moved around for Woolcraft this year but ill be in the same spot! Shed 1 with heaps of yarn and yarn related goodies. Hope to see you there!

It turns out preparing for the Bendigo sheep and wool show is harder with a baby! Who knew!!

But im lucky enough to be surrounded by incredible family and friends who are all helping! And the yarn and goodies are getting stacked up in preparation.

My friend Katrina made some outfits for our little bunny from my yarn so she will be better dressed at bendigo than I will!! Lucky little bunny.
Patterns and yarn are:
Cardigan is Sidar 1263 and bonnet I knit while pregnant is beloved by tincan knits yarn colour is Poprocks
Jumper: Sidar 3896 colourway : Watermelon sugar
Hoodie: Sidar 1262 colourway: purpleberry

Jumper from lets get knitting magazine colourway: Rainbow fish

Yesterday I broke out if the baby bubble and went to a class with a few wonderful friends at and I had the best time!! I really like colourwork but like most my knitted skills ive learned from reading patterns and guessing, and is so great to learn new skills from someone who knows what they are doing and teaches so clearly!! (And can demonstrate how to hold your yarn three different ways to avoid tangling the two colours!) Pics are of my sample which I steeked in class and will keep forever, the pic of the two knitted tubes together is to show how crazy tight my tension was yesterday compared to Haha.
