It was such a bliss to be able to sew non stop whilst socialising with fellow bag makers, exchanging tips, advice, funny stories.
This retreat was what my heart needed.
Again thank you Ges and Jo for delivering such a wonderful experience. It's going to be hard (or even impossible) to top this one up.
Everything was perfect and so well organised. 🥰

I was lucky to score a spot at the "East meets West" , bag makers retreat this week end. 💚
We were warmly welcomed by Ges and Jo from .zen and and we all received loads of gifts and goody bags for our 3 nights stay.
Included in the goodies was a kit (vinyl, webbing and hardware) to make this gorgeous bag.
I currently haven't got a bag for myself so I think it is fitting that this should be the One for me to keep.

Here's a cute bundle of Nature bags I've just made.
Made with Bonded nylon and waterproof canvas, they're perfect for a little day out to gather small treasures and store small items.
The snap button closure makes the opening easy and adds that little extra safety to keep your belongings inside. The outer zippered pockets is perfect for money, keys, cards.
Originally designed for my 7yo, I made the straps adjustable because I always end up having to carry the bag myself anyway 😆, so it comfortably fits as a crossbody bag for an adult.

Dimensions: 8" x 8"

Today I took the time to do a breakdown of how much the materials (and cheap labour) cost to make this particular bag.
Yes there are always cheaper options but I actually buy my materials from trusted suppliers that have done the quality testing for me so I know my materials are solid.
I'm not interested in making hundreds of cheap items and sell plenty of them. That has never been the aim.

No matter how much you will search Temu or Amazon or even Etsy.. you will not find this bag anywhere else.

When you purchase something like this, you are not buying a cheap factory made item, you're buying a functional work of art. 💚

Perfect little bag for 7yo kids... or for a grown up to carry phone and cards to a wizard congregation🧙‍♀️🐦‍⬛
This bag is made with a combination of Printed canvas and vinyl. The interior is lined with waterproof canvas so your items will stay dry under the rain.
Its wide adjustable strap makes it easy to convert from short shoulder strap to crossbody strap.. ideal for an adult to carry once your daughter is tired 😆.. (ask me how I know about this..)

This little Luna shaped bag is perfect for little girls, although, it does fit a mobile phone and some credit cards very comfortably too 😘
My 7yo daughter and her friends really love the shape and size of this model and its always Anna's first choice for a day out.
This one is made of a combination of quality blue vinyl and Bonded nylon material wich makes it easy to wipe clean and light to carry.
The elegant crossbody strap can be adjusted to your preference.
It has some handy little slip pockets inside.

💖 I absolutely love the "built-in" zippered pockets inside each panel of the bag. They are excellent to store your important items and keep them secure and organised.
The middle section is so roomy even without the side zippers down (which will make it even roomier!) you can load it with all the Lembas and other essentials you'll want for second breakfast.
The waterproof canvas also makes it easy to wipe clean.
There's two handy D-rings on each side to attach a crossbody strap.. for when you need your hands free to fight the Balrog, throw that ring into Mount Doom or ride an Eagle.

I have no Elven power but there's love into every stitch I sew, which is the power handmade items carry.
Like the one Ring, this bag is one of a kind.

So.. with all the end of year wrap up, my son graduating from highschool, the family visiting from overseas and the 2 new jobs I started at the same time.. I've been really MIA in the bag making front. 😥
I haven't been social media present at all and now that things are finally settling, I intend to give myself a kick and get back on that horse!
Also.. I just ordered myself a new phone so my photo game should go up a notch.. 🤫😅
Anyway, In lieu of a "Happy New year" post I wanted to give a shout out to this awesome person that got my Logo so perfectly printed on this cup just before Christmas and I didn't make the time to properly thank her 💗
