Here's my Warm Grilled Octopus & Potato Salad. 😊

Potatoes boiled, Octopus Grilled (with Olive Oil, Lemon & Oregano), Red Onion, Capers, Parsley, Greek Extra Virgin Olive Oil and Red wine Vinegar.

You could use Spring Onions instead of the Red Onions and you could also add some sliced Kalamata Olives. 😊

A real taste of the Mediterranean on your plate. 😘

The Easter baking season has officially commenced with the baking of our Koulourakia (Kουλουράκια) 😊

There's nothing I like more than baking at this time of the year with my beautiful daughter.

And I am her assistant, she makes sure I follow her strict instructions. 😂

They turned out great and I can't wait to try one!!! 😊

Hope you enjoy the Video 🥰

Here's my Lagana (Λαγάνα - Lagána).

Lagana is a Traditional Greek Flatbread which is usually made on the first Monday of Lent, but because it's so good, you can make it anytime you want to.

For the Dough:
4 cups High Protein Flour
1/4 cup olive oil

For the Rise:
2 teaspoons active dry yeast
1 and 1/2 cup warm water
1 and 1/2 teaspoons salt
2 teaspoons sugar

For the Topping:
Black Sesame Seeds
White Sesame Seeds
Oregano
Garlic Salt

Traditionally topped with Sesame Seeds but you can top it with whatever you like, even olives.

You will just love dipping this into some Taramosalata or your favourite saucy dinner dish.

Yum!! 😊

I picked some fresh peppers from my garden and wondered what I was going to do with them all??

Well I thought to myself, why not stuff them with some feta and bake them in the oven. And that's exactly what I did.

Greek-Style Peppers stuffed with Feta (Πιπεριές γεμιστές με φέτα - Πιπεριές γεμιστές με τυρί)

I used 2 types of cheeses, Greek Feta and some Greek Kasseri. (you could use Feta and some Kefalotyri)

There were no real measurements here as it was mainly done with the eye based on how many peppers I had.

So into the bowl went the cheeses, spring onion, parsley, Greek Oregano, Greek Mint, Greek Yoghurt, Pepper and some Chilli Flakes. (You can add a finely chopped tomato as well but I didn't.)

Mix it all up then stuff each pepper and place them in a baking dish. Drizzle with some Greek Extra Virgin Olive Oil and add a little more of the Kasseri to the top of each pepper and bake for around 40 minutes or until the peppers have a bit of colour and have cooked through.

They tasted amazing!!! 😊

Yes, I am going rogue. This is not a Greek Dish.

This is the viral Tik Tok dish, "Mama's Turkish Pasta". Apparently it's a cheats Manti or a deconstructed Manti which is a Turkish dish. 🤷‍♂️

In a nutshell it's a minced beef and yoghurt pasta but it tastes so much more than that. 🤤

The Meat:
▢500 grams ground beef
▢1 teaspoon onion powder
▢1 teaspoon paprika
▢1 teaspoon Cayenne pepper
▢salt , to taste
▢1 pinch pepper
▢1 onion, finely diced

Yogurt Sauce
▢1.5 cups yogurt , plain
▢½ teaspoon salt , to taste
▢3 cloves garlic , minced

Butter Sauce
▢4 tablespoons butter
▢1 teaspoon paprika

Additional Ingredients
▢500 grams pasta
▢cherry tomatoes , halved
▢chopped parsley

I doubled up the ingredients because if I was going to make this I was going to have it over a couple of nights.

I added the Cayenne Pepper as I like a bit of spice. You don't need to add this.

In your bowl goes the cooked pasta followed by some of the yoghurt sauce. You then top it with the meat, tomatoes and parsley. Finishing with the paprika butter. Yum!!! 😊

The result was amazing. It tasted great and I have been told by the family that I have to add this to our regular dinners. 😊

Who doesn't like Baklava? Don't you dare say you don't like it because then we can't be friends. 😂

Greek Baklava (Μπακλαβάς) is a delicious traditional dessert with layers of crispy golden brown phyllo, filled with spiced chopped nuts and drenched with a honey syrup. Sounds perfect doesn't it. 😍

Traditionally Greek Baklava is made using Walnuts but you can also use Almonds, Pistachios or Hazelnuts. Mine is made with a mixture of Walnuts and Almonds. 😊

This is a very syrupy dessert. In Greece this dish is classified as a Siropiasta Dessert. Which as you can guess describes a dessert drenched in syrup. 😋

And if you are making this for my Dad then please make extra syrup so he can pour it over his slice, because if it's not drowning in syrup then he won't be happy. 😘

Καλή Όρεξη 😊
