The Blockx Watercolour Giant Pan range represents an exquisite way to paint with watercolour. These small batch Belgian watercolours are poured by hand into beautiful, oversized porcelain pans, measuring 3.5 x 2.25 inches at their widest point and contain about 8 times as much watercolour as an ordinary half pan. Further, when you finally use all your colour you can reuse the porcelain pans for mixing or large washes.
Prepared with a modern formula, the colours are slowly ground on stone tricylinders to simulate the manual process and accentuate the individual quality of each colour. The pigments are very finely ground, coated with gum Arabic and honey to strengthen the resistance in time of colors and give them more brightness and luminosity.
