Drawing upon our expertise in theatre technologies, the Lightmoves team has delivered accessible theatre technology and lighting control to enrich the new performing arts facility at Rosehill Secondary College. The school's commitment to the performing arts is easily recognisable with a brand new modern facility dedicated to music, dance, and drama, designed by 3iD Architecture and built by Arc3 Builders. Lightmoves worked with the team at Rosehill to decipher their specific needs and then created a bespoke solution utilising the Q-SYS Core Nano Processor for audio-visual control and the LSC Mantra Lite console in order to direct the LEDs, and moving lights.
We also supplied the Philips Dynalite control system, which manages all house lights and lighting bars throughout the building. Our solution enabled the staff at Rosehill to use the space in various ways, accommodating a wide range of activities including assemblies, theatre studies classes, dance classes, performances, external events and facility hire.
Lightmoves also initiated extensive training for the staff at Rosehill as a means of empowering the team to fully utilise the equipment within the space as well as providing ongoing support. The Lightmoves team regularly works with schools across Victoria as a means of enriching educational outcomes, utilising tailored solutions to create dynamic learning environments.
