Thank you for checking up on me in regards to my recent post. It was a cryptic poem about addiction.

Just wanted to reassure you that I’m doing okay, there is no need to worry.

Something I’ve discovered is that expressing myself fully has been a journey, and lately, I’ve found comfort in using social media as a creative outlet to show different facets of myself, happy, sad, sexy, not so sexy, inspired, uninspired and in between whether through words or visuals.

Life is not always picture-perfect, and I don’t want to fool you or myself into thinking that it is. I also don’t want to dim my light so I can be neutral for your comfort.

Vulnerability is extremely challenging to practice, especially when you have a business tied to your name.
It adds an extra layer of complexity and can be mentally challenging.

But I don’t want to be afraid of opening up anymore~ it’s a work in progress. As much as I can, I want to show up in ways I am comfortable with when these moments arise because it’s all part of the journey.

I want to take you along without the façade of always being on top of my s**t or being a great mum etc. #. Coz I’m not! I’m also a bad mum at times, a badass most times 😎lol but more so i just want to have a good time, have a laugh and connect coz I'm a lonely gal at heart- not in sad way. It's just the way I am, i private but i am open to share and like all mothers i do my best. That’s all 🫶🏽

One of my biggest lessons in this journey so far has been accepting that both motherhood and business will always be in flux and it's best to welcome the chaos and uncertainties of both worlds.

I have had to accept that the pace is slower, and more chaotic when you have kids.

The shop front will not always be as pristine as I’d like. The ambience will differ according to my children's mood. It's a lot of compromise.

Above all I wanted to thank the universe for allowing me to be a mother within this space and to fuel my creative and entrepreneurial fire all at the same time.

I will always continue to give my best whenever I can and help those along the way to create their dream space, to live their dream life as you guys have helped me create mine.

This is meant for you ✨
& if it isn't and the path you thought it would be. Hey, there is always a new door, a new way waiting to be discovered.

May we look back at these moments and know our power and strength. We got this, sis! ✊🏽🤎✨

If you are feeling lonely ( like me most times ), I encourage you to come in for a chat—you don't have to purchase anything. No expectations. Just a neighbour keen for a chat, to break - up the day.

Today, I don't know why, but I cried walking past a mother group I couldn't join because I had work commitments.

They all looked so delighted, dancing and singing with their babies. I wanted to join so badly, but instead, I kept walking because partly, I didn't feel I deserved it. Ugh, the sad stories I tell myself sometimes. I do wish they weren't there, and I just did whatever made me happy. Work in progress.

I hope you are not feeling alone.

Raising 2 kids is a lot!

Mamas how do you stay sane and happy whilst running a happy and clean household? asking for a friend 👀

I am grateful to have honest conversations with other mothers in our community who also feels the pressure. Makes me feel less crazy for not having it all together I guess. I like being able to embrace the chaos and messiness that life brings together, so we can enjoy the simpler moments in life.

I survived my first week of being a ‘School Mum’ whatever this means 😭 I still don’t know how I feel about it all.
