Fun, quirky buttons, maker brooches, handmade tags and other sewing goodies! It all began when I became obsessed with making my own clothes a few years ago.

I was looking for some unique wooden buttons to adorn my first piece of creation (a plain chocolate-coloured shirtdress) but I couldn’t find any that satisfy me. This was when I decided to design my own buttons. I had experience with laser-cutting since my uni days when I used to make architectural models with it (no more agonising and repetitive cardboard cutting with hand!). So naturally, I turn

ed to laser-cutting to create my own buttons. The name ‘Arrow Mountain’ symbolises the design spirit - light and nimble like an arrow, calm and lasting like a mountain - this shop hopes to project. I hope you find pieces you like here. Thank you for visiting.

I'm on a bag-making roll! I'm normally not a fan of stuffed animals but as soon as I saw these patterns from I knew I have to make them. I think that's what's been missing for me with stuffed animals - an integrated zipper pouch and pockets system!

I can't recommend these patterns more ❤ They got clear instructions and all the pieces come together nicely. The only adjustment I made is with the penguin head - I made the head rounder with a shorter beak, to go for a baby penguin look. 🐧

Okay, I'm off to pat them again 🤗

Long time no sew! Dipping back into the sewing game with a yellow tote - hoping that it would add some extra sunshine to the upcoming winter months here in Melbourne 🌞

I added some 'edge-stitched grid lines' and love how that turned out! It got me thinking what other patterns I can create with edge stitching 💭

I haven't posted for a while but this is what I made during the holiday - I made a travel sewing kit to take my hobby with me during vacation! 😎

This aptly shaped mini suitcase is made with a DIY weaving kit from Daiso. I added a strap to hold the scissors and a sewn-to-size pincushion and everything else just fits so snugly within it ❤️

I like the peace of mind the hard shell gives me, that needles aren't going to poke through when I placed the kit inside my luggage. That's what has been stopping me from sewing a fabric one for so long!

Anyway, happy 2024 and hope you all get some sewing done during the holiday wherever you are ❤️

I'm not usually a print person but I fell in love with the exquisite hand-printed collection from - and after much restraint, I bought 6 of the designs 😂✌️

3 of them were sewn up into my favourite top - pattern ❤️

Each of them features one of my own button. The first one highlighted here is the Moon Cycle button in brushed gold (Back in stock in store! 😉).

I think the black stripy pattern works well with the black/gold button 😗

Another art medium that I tried during my sewing break is acrylic paint pens. They are so fun to draw with. And now I'm incorporating it into sewing by making a fabric puff key chain! (The paint should be waterproof after heat setting) 🎨➕🧵

Long time no post!

Around the end of last year, I lost my sewjo (quite suddenly and unexpectedly) and got burned out of posting on IG. I put away my sewing machine and explored many different crafts and art mediums in the months since - gouache, paper flower, acrylic pens, air dry clay, paper mache, watercolour pencils, etc. 🎨

And it was while I played with air dry clay, I circled back into the sewing realm. I started making pattern weights in shapes inspired by common pattern pieces. To add weight to them, I also utilised my big collection of redundant IKEA allen keys and embedded them into the clay ✌

Although my sewjo is not fully restored, these new pattern weights have inspired me to start on some simple sewing projects like making another of my favourite 😊

Hope you're enjoying and please don't feel pressured to sew everything for your wardrobe if you don't feel like it. I think this is one of the reasons that ate away my sewjo over time.

My new has quickly become part of my winter uniform, along with and ❤

I made the shorter jacket version with no alterations, except for adding a linning. Love the overall silhouette (boxy but not too boxy) and the big warmer pockets!

Mostly store duties this weekend - packing orders, making new buttons, updating stock listing 😄 ...AND doing taxes 😬 So won't be a lot of sewing going around here. Hope you're having a nice weekend 😘

Time to audition for buttons. I like to pair it with wooden buttons but I also want to test my newest button - black leather flower button (a better name is needed!) *still deciding*

Feeling good in this all-black memade outfit featuring the and (from the book) 🖤 ...plus mess on the floor 😅

The has become my new go-to pants pattern. The curved waistband, rise and pants length are *chef kiss* and fit me perfectly. Given my petite height and long torso I'm surprised I didn't need to alter the pattern one bit! Also superb instructions from Emily as always👍
