From Melbourne to the world stage.

Hawthorn Pipe Band finished 11th in Grade 1 at the 2026 World Pipe Band Championships, an incredible result in their first appearance at the Worlds at this level.

A huge achievement for the band and a pretty memorable week in Glasgow for our MD Cam.

Our MD Cam and Melbourne’s Hawthorn Pipe Band taking on the world stage at Glasgow Green.

And this wasn’t just any competition. This was Hawthorn’s first World Championships competing at the highest level, Grade 1.

Last week, Interglo Lighting MD Cam swapped commercial lighting for bagpipes, competing with Melbourne’s Hawthorn Pipe Band at the 2026 World Pipe Band Championships in Glasgow, Scotland.

Here they are warming up at Glasgow Green before taking on some of the best pipe bands in the world.
