🌿 Pretty, simple & handmade 🌿

Sometimes you don’t need lots of layers and embellishments to make something beautiful.

Kerry created this lovely journal cover with soft vintage details, distressed edges and a simple botanical focal point — finished with just a little touch of gold. ✨

I love how understated this one is. 💕

Mum’s been busy creating again this week! ❤️

Just look at these gorgeous handmade embellishments she’s been putting together. Layers of distressed papers, vintage book pages, stitching, little fabric details and those wonderful vintage-style children — there’s so much texture and character in every piece.

I love that no two ever turn out quite the same. 🥰 These will be perfect for adding a ready-made little focal point to junk journals, tags, pockets, covers and other vintage-inspired projects.

A little peek at what’s been happening behind the scenes at Whichcraft this week. ✂️📚

Old receipts, handwritten notes, ledger entries and lovely French typography… I could happily spend ages looking through these! 🤎 So many little details to enjoy, whether you’re collecting old paper or adding it to your journals.

Golden leaves, creamy lace and that gorgeous deep green ribbon… 🍂 I love the little girl on this tag, too. Such a lovely mix of paper and texture to play with—where would you start? ✂️

Apparently embroidered trim works with everything… and we’re quite happy to keep testing that theory. 😂🌸
This time we went soft and romantic — blush pinks, creamy lace, warm embroidery and a slightly secret-garden-looking door that we now rather want to walk through.
We love seeing how completely different the same type of supplies can look just by changing the colours and textures around them.
Our embroidered trims are on sale this week, if you feel like doing a little experimenting of your own. ❤️

There’s something lovely about old postcards… the handwriting, the postal marks, the little messages someone took the time to send. 🤎 These French beauties would make such a lovely addition to a journal—or simply a collection to treasure!

A little look back at an old project we called Curiosities 🦋 These were so much fun to make—old book pages, butterflies, little cogs and tiny bits and pieces, all coming together as their own little curiosities.

Looking at them again has me itching to rummage through the stash and make another batch. You know it’s been a good project when, years later, you still think, “Ooh, I should make more of those!” 🤎

We’ve been playing with embroidered trims again… and apparently stopping at just one was never an option. 😂
We love mixing different textures and patterns together — a bit of embroidery, a little lace, something fancy — and seeing where it ends up. 💙
Our embroidered trims are on sale this week, so it’s a rather good time to build up your own little stash for future projects.
Are you a use-the-pretty-trim person, or a save-it-because-it’s-too-pretty-to-use person? 😂

Playing with blues, botanicals and a few slightly magical mushrooms 💙🍄
We’ve been busy putting together new pieces this week, and this little collection was one of our favourites. There’s something very satisfying about mixing all the tiny details until everything finally feels like it belongs together.
I think the blue butterfly might be my favourite bit... although the mushrooms are making a strong argument. 😂
Which bit catches your eye first?
