For a long time, my focus has been so firmly set on design, furniture, and running the business that I forgot how important it is to be creative purely for the sake of it. Somewhere along the way, I also stopped making and crafting, something that was always deeply important to me.
A recent conversation with the very wonderful Fiona made me reflect on the Chinese horoscope. I’m not one to follow it closely (not much of a believer either), but the 2025 Year of the Snake felt incredibly accurate. Slow. Transformative. A year of shedding. Quiet, but necessary. Spot on!
Over the past few months, I’ve felt a shift. As we move into 2026, the Year of the Horse, I’m open to the momentum, movement, and forward energy it is said to bring. Feeling lighter, more liberated, and more willing to explore experimental work without needing to define where it leads.
Is anyone else feeling this shift?
