Craftsmen

Each piece of our collection is a testimony to the intricate art of poetry that has been practiced for generations and was brought to life by the craftsmen of Thimi area in Nepal. For centuries, Thimi is known to be one of the oldest and one of the most important oldest pottery making villages in Nepal.

As you hold our handcrafted pottery in your hands, you can feel and live in the essence of this ancient craft that has been preserved through generations. The potters of Thimi belong to the Newar Kumale caste and bear the surname, Prajapati. They pour their heart and soul into every creation of pottery, shaping each piece on a wheel with utmost care and precision.
