Macrame makers get in quick we had these cords dropped off this week. We've been asked a number of times in the past so we know they won't sit around for long. Especially with school holidays just around the corner.

A few weeks ago Rosalie dropped in, looking for a fabric that matches her embroidery to make a bag. From memory I don't believe she was looking for cheery velvet. But that's what I put my hand on and it was love at first sight. And doesn't it look fabulous.

Did you catch ABC Melbourne radio this morning?

Our very own volunteer/customer sang our praises this morning. But how it all unfolded leading up to that point was a testament to our community that we are building. One that would never take place in a store like Lincraft.

Imagine this
Our little (but bigger store than East Ivanhoe) has a handfull of customers and Sam within. The workshop space is full of fabric donations, Katrina and 2 volunteers.
Mother of our Wednesday student drops her daughter off. While setting the student up on the FeltLOOM Katrina receives a message from the mother about the ABC radio talking about Lincraft and to call in quick. Katrina passes the message on to Sam (aftet all she proved herself to be the better pitcher last night) while Katrina continues to support the student in the very full and busy room. She hears Kim (volunteer/customer) calling in and everyone going quite but the excitement in the room was deafening. Afterwards it was like a room full of giggling school girls. High on top of the high after last night's StartSomeGood.com pitch.

Kim was buzzing so much that she returned after lunch at The Dish Eaglemont. Once she calmed down so she could shop with a clear head 😆

And the best news, we have already had one customer come in after hearing Kim gush about The Fabric ReStore.
