Carnival Adventure is in desperate need of a face lift. It's definitely showing her age. That being said. Surroundings don't determine how much fun you're going to have. That's on me. And I'm going to have an awesome time. 😁

Hi Fellow Creatives

This is just a very quick announcement to let you know that orders placed AFTER 9am AEDT on 11 March 2026 will not be shipped until 11 April 2026. This is because I am having an operation (nothing serious) and giving myself time to fully recover.

If I'm back sooner I'll let you all know.

You still have time to get your orders in. Just click the shop link in bio.

Cheers and thanks

I don’t normally post this kind of thing, but I’m getting nowhere with customer service.

On 27 Jan I received a notification that my parcel from had been delivered. The problem is the delivery photo isn’t of my flat nor is it of the block of flats where I live. I let AusPost know and the next day I received an email advising they’d located the parcel and it was being delivered to me. I kept checking the app for progress. Nothing. I reached out to customer service yesterday and they sent me a message saying they were investigating the matter and will reach out to the centre to try to locate the parcel. This confused me because it was only the day prior that they had advised me that they had located the parcel, had retrieved the parcel, and that it was on its way to me.

This morning, I rang customer. I was advised that the email that informed me the parcel had been retrieved was sent to me due to a glitch in the system. When I pressed the rep saying that doesn’t make sense (he advised me such glitches are sent out all the time) he said I should not focus on the first email but should just focus on the email that says they are trying to locate the item. Yet, according to the written confirmation I had already received, AusPost had already found the item and was already sending it to me.

AusPost has lied to me and will not accept responsibility. Instead, they have told me to ignore the email (as if it doesn’t count). You can’t tell your customers you have fixed the problem, when you clearly haven’t, and when caught in a lie, blame a system glitch. This is completely unacceptable. HISMILE you need to use a different carrier. AUSPOST you need to take ownership. Admit that you’ve lied and refund me my money so I can buy the products again. I doubt anyone from AusPost will respond.

I made the viral cake mix cookies. They are YUMMY.

Recipe:
Cake mix - I got the Woolies brand
2 eggs
100 grams melted butter

I then added chopped macadamia nuts, white and milk chocolate.

Combine all ingredients.

Bake in 180 degree oven. Mine took 8 and a half minutes because I like a soft cookie.

Enjoy

I have no idea how long this strike will last. The previous one went on for weeks. I'll keep you posted.

Due to national union strike action, Canada Post has advised all countries to temporarily stop sending all items to Canada. As a result, shipping to Canada has been temporarily suspended as of 29 September 2025.

I am now shipping to the US again!

However, there are some changes.

As you're aware from my previous email, effective August 29, 2025, there will no longer be a de minimis exemption for goods entering the United States, which means more items shipped to the US may now be subject to tariffs. These tariffs and duties are to be paid prior to the goods entering the United States of America (which is a requirement set in place by the US).

What does this mean for you?

My carrier, AusPost, has put systems in place to collect the tarrifs and duties prior to the goods leaving Australia. As such, the cost of the tariffs/duties/fees have been incorporated into the cost of shipping for US customers only.

US customers will not be required to pay further tariffs/duties/fees to receive your items.

I appreciate that an increase in shipping is not ideal. However, for me to continue to ship to the US, this is what I am required to do.

I want to thank everyone for your continued support, especially during the previous weeks, when I truly thought my business would be permanently impacted by these changes.

Keep being creative.

Cheers and thanks

Shipping to the US will be reinstated at the start of October. As per the US requirements, the tariffs are to be paid prior to the goods entering the United States.

What does this mean for you?

has partnered with Zonos to collect the tarrifs prior to the goods leaving Australia, so you will not be required to pay the tarrifs separately at your end.

Will prices increase?

Zonos charges the tariff rate, of which they take 10% commission, plus $1.69 administration fee per transaction. As such, there will be an increase in either the cost of the goods or an increase in shipping to cover the payment of tarrifs and fees.

Why wait until the start of October?

Like all of us, Auspost was caught off guard by the sudden changes imposed by the US and need time to put in place systems to comply with the new requirements. As you can imagine, this is a big undertaking, and time is needed for a smooth transition. Auspost has advised that the new system will be available at the end of September.

I want to thank everyone for your continued support. I was truly overwhelmed by your messages during this extremely anxious time when I truly thought my business would be permanently impacted.

I look forward to the start of October!

Cheers and thanks

US CUSTOMERS

I have made the decision to temporarily suspend shipping to the US. This is because of the tariffs that are due to come in on 29 August which will make it cost prohibitive to send and receive parcels. IF the situation changes I will reinstate shipping to the US.

Thank you for your understanding.
