What a glorious day in Hurstbridge! I love days like this- the sun was shining, people were out and about, lots of chats and so many people excited for the festival tomorrow 💛
We were very busy getting our blooms ready for our 3rd Wattle Festival at Evie’s Evergreen- my goodness how time flies!
Our $35 beautiful bright native bouquets are back to bring a bit of the festival home with you 💛
These have rushed out the door every year so make sure to pick yours up! You can always order your bouquet and collect it later after exploring the festival xx

Hurstbridge Wattle Festival is this Sunday the 30th!! 💛
Come join this wonderful community event in beautiful Hurstbridge- so much to see and enjoy, a perfect day out to explore this special town
A little flashback of our last couple years- this will be our first Wattle Festival at our new space and we couldn’t be more excited 💛
Our beautiful and bright native bouquets will be out the front to celebrate the event and to take a little bit of the festival home with you xx

This weeks favourites of the week is a bit of a late one but it was full of joy, flowers, conversations and busy days ❤️

Thank you for another beautiful week in our happy place, we always love seeing you and it just makes our day!
As always, here are just a few of the highlights ❤️

1: this beautiful white and black pottery looks gorgeous in the Bloom Room surrounded by preserved flowers- we love styling pieces that are timeless and can suit any space

2: a custom preserved floral hair comb for a beautiful customer to wear to a special event- we love creating bespoke designs!

3: our cabinet is filled with lots of wonderful gardening supplies and equipment! Perfect gift for a garden lover or a treat for yourself

4: I had an early start last week and thought the shop looked beautiful so I had to snap a quick shot

5: talented water colour artist, David, painting our shop from across the road ❤️ we might need to get some cards printed with his piece!

We have been busy making and curating our range for the second half of the year and dare I say… CHRISTMAS
I know it sounds so early but we plan our events and ranges months in advance and my gosh how this year has just flown by!
So as we design, make, create and curate our range we wanted to step back and ask our wonderful customers and community…….

A week back in my happy place after being away ❤️
Thank you for a beautiful week in store!
As usual, here are a few of the favourites of the week

1- I love the windows at night and the warm lights, I always have to take a minute to admire them when I’m leaving for the night ✨
2- these beautiful linen and lace patchwork cushions, bolster and throw- these are made by us in our Kinglake studio!
3-my favourite kind of outfit- lots of layers and textures with one of my new favourite sheer lace tops! Only 1 left in store x
4- gorgeous new wattle plant pots to go with gorgeous handmade wattle pottery to celebrate wattle festival 💛
5-straight back into the blooms! Love all the warm tones
6- the most adorable little puppy popped in for a visit! You know we love our fluffy friends here 💕
7-new vases arrived this week! Lots of fun’s colours and textures- we love the gold top on them too
8- a very fluffy bouquet

Our 3 weekend sewing workshop is back again this month!🪡🧵

Join Victoria from Evie’s Evergreen for a creative and supportive beginner sewing course designed for adults who would love to learn the art of sewing
Held over three Saturdays — 15th, 22nd & 29th of August from 10:00am to 12:00pm
This hands-on course will introduce you to essential sewing techniques while building your confidence using a sewing machine.
Guided by Victoria, a certified TAE teacher, you’ll receive expert instruction in a relaxed and welcoming environment

Each week you’ll complete a beautiful handmade project to take home, allowing you to put your new skills into practice and leave with something you can be proud of! 💕

Whether you’re completely new to sewing or looking to refresh your skills, this course is the perfect opportunity to learn, create, and connect with fellow makers

All materials and tools will be provided along with refreshments - though you will be required to bring your own sewing machine
This is an adults workshop only

A little bit about Erika ❤️

Erika is a Melbourne-based artist, educator and founder of Erika & Her Kraft.
With a background in both art and education, Erika loves creating welcoming workshops where children can explore their creativity, build confidence and enjoy the process of making something with their own hands. Every child is encouraged to create in their own unique way and leave with something they’re proud of

First up is a whimsical and fun beaded plant in a one-of-a-kind vintage pot 🌱
Saturday the 15th of August at 2:30-4:30
Join us for a relaxed afternoon of creativity as we make our own beautiful beaded trailing plants - no watering required!

We’ll begin with a short wander to the Hurstbridge Op Shop, where you’ll choose a unique vintage vessel to become the home for your creation. Then we’ll head back to Evie’s Make & Create Space, where you’ll learn step-by-step how to create a cascading beaded plant that you can proudly display at home or gift to someone special.

No artistic or jewellery-making experience is needed. Just come along, enjoy the process, and leave with a beautiful handmade piece that’s completely unique to you.
