What a way to celebrate the success of Wa Melbourne Ikebana Festival 2026! 🌸
Across our five days of events, 876 people came through our doors to experience ikebana, ceramics, Japanese culture, workshops, demonstrations, performances, ikebana battle and, most importantly, the wonderful community that makes this festival so special.
As part of the Wa Tema, this number means so much more to me than just an attendance figure.
876 people chose to spend their time with us. 876 people shared in our love of flowers, creativity and Japanese culture. ❤️
To every artist, ceramicist, performer, teacher, workshop facilitator, volunteer, supporter, sponsor and visitor — thank you. You each played a part in making this festival what it was.
