🚨 LOW-FLYING AIRCRAFT & HIDDEN MASTS — AN AVIATION SAFETY CONCERN

Recent reports from regional Queensland have raised concerns about the visibility of wind monitoring masts and the potential risks they pose to low-flying aircraft.

Across Australia, agricultural pilots, helicopter operators and emergency services routinely fly at low altitudes.

A slender guyed mast can be extremely difficult to see from the air — and its supporting wires can be even harder to identify.

At FARLIGHT Australasia, we believe aviation safety should never be an afterthought.

Tall structures, including temporary wind monitoring masts, should undergo an appropriate aviation risk assessment. Where obstacle lighting is required, reliable and correctly specified aircraft warning lights should be installed and maintained.

FARLIGHT supplies aviation obstruction lighting solutions to help make towers, masts and other structures more visible to aircraft.

✅ Aircraft warning lighting solutions

✅ Low-intensity and medium-intensity obstruction lights

✅ Solutions for permanent and temporary structures

✅ Australian technical support

Aviation safety starts on the ground. Don’t wait for a near miss before addressing a potential hazard.

🌟 THE MELBOURNE STAR LIGHTS UP AGAIN! 🎆

After almost five years in darkness, Melbourne’s iconic Star came alive again in a spectacular celebration at Docklands.

The honour of pushing the button went to 12-year-old Charli-Koko Vance, supported by Very Special Kids, officially bringing the Star’s lights back to Melbourne’s skyline.

As the Star illuminated the night, an incredible fireworks display marked this very special moment. 🎇

A fantastic milestone for one of Melbourne’s most recognisable landmarks — and an unforgettable moment for Charli-Koko and everyone watching.

Welcome back, Melbourne Star! ⭐️

Who’s monitoring your aircraft warning lights?
Across cities, cranes and high-rise buildings rely on aircraft obstruction lights to keep aircraft safe. But installing the light is only half the job — monitoring it is critical.

Many site owners don’t realise that obstruction lights should be monitored to ensure they are operating correctly. If a light fails and nobody knows about it, it can create serious compliance and safety risks.
At FARLIGHT, we provide a simple and reliable solution.
Our PC-1000 Aircraft Warning Light Controller combined with the SC-4005 modem allows your obstruction lighting system to be monitored 24/7.

✅ Real-time monitoring
✅ Immediate fault alerts
✅ Reliable remote connectivity
✅ Designed for critical aviation safety systems

Whether it’s a construction crane, tower, building or structure, FARLIGHT ensures your lights are always being watched.
💡 Don’t just install obstruction lights — monitor them.
