🌸Important Information Post🌸

I’ve had some time to reflect on this and with that time I’ve had to make a hard decision.

Over the past 12 months I’ve had some deep internal changes which have questioned my future as a business owner and a florist. I’ve come to the decision after 10 years with Lilac and the Cat (and 30 years a florist) to close the retail store for deliveries and pickups and focus on Weddings and Events and new career ventures. I’d like to thank each and every one of you that has supported me over the years, it’s been a wonderful ride and I’ve had the pleasure of creating beautiful bouquets for your homes. It’s time for a change, but jeepers I’ve had fun over the years creating so many flower memories. From starting the first hashtag 10 years ago (I dare you to scroll down to the first one!! 😉) to be voted as one of the top sustainable florist in the world in 2020, being included in the Inika ‘Women who inspire us’ series, to working with some seriously incredibly amazing people! ❤️

Is my birth season. It’s the time I want to nurture myself and keep warm and cosy, sleep and eat lots and create behind closed doors. You’ll notice the hours in the shop start drop off and I’m only contactable via phone or online. I love hibernating in Winter, it comes naturally.
