Today, my children made the executive decision that churros were the only acceptable lunch option at the , and honestly, I couldn’t argue with that! 😅
What followed was an afternoon full of meaningful conversations, new connections, and inspiring encounters with leaders from the Latin community, business owners, and community advocates who are creating opportunities and celebrating our culture every day.
A huge thank you to the organisers of the Spanish Language Fiesta for creating such a welcoming and accessible space.
The location was fantastic, the venue was comfortable and undercover, and the atmosphere made it easy for families, businesses, and community members to connect, learn, and celebrate together.org.au
Events like these remind me how powerful language, culture, and community can be. They create opportunities for collaboration, friendships, and business relationships while strengthening the sense of belonging for so many people.
I was also proud to share Casa Bonita’s newest designs from our Australiana Collection.
Designed in Melbourne and sustainably handcrafted by Colombian Artisans and Indigenous women, this collection brings together Australian wildlife, Colombian ancestral techniques, and conscious design. Each product celebrates cultural exchange while creating sustainable income opportunities for women-led traditional businesses.
For me, this collection represents something very special: an Australian social enterprise connecting conscious buyers with authentic craftsmanship, cultural heritage, and meaningful impact.
Thank you to all my Latin community who is supporting Casa Bonita’s cultural collections and specially the Australiana Collection 🤗🤝
Here’s to building stronger communities, celebrating our heritage, and creating opportunities together. 🇦🇺🇨🇴✨
