My sister makes candles for weddings and events (they are literally the best scented candles you’ll ever purchase) and we are always the luckiest recipients of her “test subjects” before she releases the collection🌻

A few months ago she filled these glass jars which I’ve now repurposed into treasure boxes for you guys!! 🌸

I was inspired by these hand carved mother of pearl buttons and a string of the cutest tiniest conch shells. I can never resist these when I find them!! Are you the same?

I’ve been a bit quiet this last week, working behind the scenes filling these giant boxes with treasure.

I also have an idea for a series to show you all how I store my treasures in my studio.

For my first time, I came across these precious Valentines Day cards from way back in the day. They had the cutest illustrations of little children and exchanging flowers and illustrations of hearts in embrace - just 👏 the 👏 sweetest 👏 thing 👏

The sweet pink and coordinating blues of the cards inspired this little collection.

I really enjoy sorting through my stash, getting excited by what I find for a second time and sifting through mountains of buttons to find that perfect button to complete a collection.

It’s such fun to collect and put together all these pieces which have survived the test of time, some more than 100 years, and have found their way together into these upholstered sewing boxes.

It’s why I’m very excited for these HUGE treasures boxes which are coming your way soon!!
