Well, I’ve been a little quiet around here lately! 🙋‍♀️

For the past couple of weeks, I’ve had my Bribbaree Show hat firmly on, helping bring together our 100th show this year! 🎪🌾

What a fantastic success it was, but goodness, it’s a HUGE undertaking for our executive committee, volunteers and helpers. So much work goes on behind the scenes, and I’m incredibly grateful to everyone who helped make it such a wonderful show.

I even managed to sneak in a few exhibits of my own and was lucky enough to bring home a couple of ribbons in the handicrafts and needlework sections! 🏵️ A lovely little bonus after all the hard work.

Now it’s time to slowly catch up, take a breath and get back to playing with fabric! ✂️🧵

I’ve got plenty of lovely things to share with you over the coming weeks, so don’t go too far… there’s lots happening behind the scenes at Fabric Sauce!

I just had to have a go at making these gorgeous little baby slippers that keep popping up in my Instagram feed! 🥰

I’ve used a couple of sweet prints from the Alison Glass Jinny range and I love that they’re completely reversible - two little looks in one!

They are just SO cute and make the sweetest little handmade presents for a new bub. 💕 I think I might be hooked on making these!

There’s been a lot of early mornings spent out in the garden lately, getting stuck into the weeds, doing a bit of pruning and finally ticking off some of those winter jobs that I never quite got around to!

Spring is definitely here, and we’re nearly at the stage where all those beautiful blossoms have come and gone. The garden is changing every day, and I’m loving being out there early before the day gets away from me.

And then it’s back inside to play with fabric all day… 🌸🧵

Really, how lucky am I? Garden in the morning and fabric all day! It’s not a bad way to spend a day. ❤️

There’s always something catching my eye when I walk around the shop — beautiful fabrics, favourite designers, bundles waiting to become quilts and plenty of inspiration tucked onto these shelves.

Sometimes I think I could happily spend all day just rearranging fabric… although I’m not sure my customers would appreciate that! 😂
