Are you wondering if I still burn?
The answer is… YUP!
I just don’t get as much posted in social media anymore.
Lots of reasons really but the first one is that although my ‘biz’ is based online, I’d much rather create there than here 😬…. By the time I pay the bills, email the school, chase supplies and a bit of doom scrolling to numb the brain, I’ve already had enough to kickstart the digital dementia. Anyone else?
But also, I don’t want to compete. I’m here because I love what I do and I have enough trouble keeping the old imposter syndrome under control 🤭. There are so many amazing artists out there and so many using stencils (ick) so I try to just do what I do with blinkers in.

But if you are after something, let me know!
Plus, although I haven’t got much of the updating of albums done, I am still discounting all ‘old’ stock.

Here’s mine 🤭

Birni: part artisan, part chaos gremlin, powered almost exclusively by caffeine, curiosity, and a slightly concerning level of commitment to whatever niche idea has captured her attention this week.

By day (and also by night, and occasionally at 2:17am when a “quick idea” strikes), she is a creator of beautiful things—burning designs into hats and bags like some kind of modern-day fire-wielding wizard. By personality, she exists somewhere between wholesome cottagecore and “what happens if I just try this and see if it works,” which is how you end up with experimental orange juice cakes, emotionally intelligent chickens, and deeply suspicious pearl investigations all in the same week.

She has strong opinions about texture, aesthetics, and whether something “feels right,” which—against all logic—is usually correct. Known to casually deep-dive into topics ranging from medical reports to crochet poultry to fuel economy maths, she operates on a unique blend of intuition and “I’ll just figure it out myself, thanks.”

Strengths include: making things better, spotting weird details others miss, and giving inanimate objects personalities.

EMOTIONAL SUPPORT CHICKEN NAME UPDATE!

I TOTALLY loved all of your suggested names, and with many chickens hatching they are all on a shortlist!

For this time, here is the name and bio I chose…
Meet “Flick Fluttersworth”.

Flick is a little different to tte rest of the coop, and can easily come across as uncouth. But let’s face it, sometimes being polite when you just want to scream doesn’t cut it at all.

So, Flick totally gets you on the days you just want to tell people to “Flick off” or just a simple “well, FLICK you!”.

Still holding a touch of chicken chic yet touching on the unforgivable. Don’t be mistaken, Emotional Support Chickens are classy and there’s nothing sweary to see here!
