As a result of this governments incompetence, we will no longer be offering our credit card payment as an option.
The fees are not disappearing on our end so we cannot be expected to absorb them.
We are not selling $5 coffees. Our jobs get in the thousand’s and tens of thousands. The fees are huge at that point.
We also refuse to put our prices up across the board to accommodate potential card sales and affect all of our customers.
In our 10+ years of business, the amount of credit card sales overall is very low anyway (probably because of the surcharge amount in dollar figures turned the clients off using it) which helped make this decision.
