Dinosaur Taxidermy

People often ask me why I am a taxidermist and I am glad to tell you all it is because I love animals. To me there is nothing more amazing than the sheer diversity of life on earth and the many forms and functions it takes. I have created this company not as a macabre reminder of death but as a celebration of life and a way to enrich the lives and homes of anyone who is interested. I have a bachel

or of applied science and I have also studied entomology at Purdue University in America for a short time. I believe all life is precious and that is why I always put in the extra effort to find the most ethical specimens possible. All entomology specimens are sourced from labs and museums that do not allow for illegal poaching and where ever possible I participate in the funding of captive breed and release programs which are occurring all around the world. If it is not possible to get the specimens from captive breeding than I work in conjunction with labs and museums funding their field research in return for examined specimens. There are also instances where I may use some of the insects from my own collection as I do often breed different species for my personal studies. I don't typically kill these specimens I just let them live a natural life span. If I am for some reason forced to kill an entomology specimen this will typically be done via freezing as I believe this is the most humane way as they simply fall into a hibernation sleep and then pass away. These animals have not been killed for taxidermy but instead have been collected as road kill or received from various friends of mine who have for what ever reason found them dead. I love creating unique pieces for any style so if you have something in mind or even just a color palette to work to I would be glad to help.
