SALES CONSULTANT WANTED.

We are looking for a successful applicant who will be required to
assist clients with floor coverings and window furnishing selections for new homes and renovations.

Role includes:
Sales, Quotations, emails, scheduling, phones, data entry,
administration, cash handling, potential measuring,
warehouse & showroom upkeep, taking of deliveries,
They must be able to work with minimal
supervision and have an eye for detail and the
capacity to meet deadlines and follow tasks
through to completion.

Essential skill sets:
* Positive attitude, strong self-motivation and
desire to learn
* Computer literate and able to learn new programs
* Strong communication and presentation skills
* Well-developed organizational and time
management
*Outstanding customer service
* Must have drivers’ license
Role is Full time Casual / 9-5.30 Monday to Friday and some Saturday work for 4 hours 9-1pm. We offer a great salary and team environment.

FLOORING TECHNOLOGY APPRENTICE WANTED

We are looking for a Floor coverings apprentice, your main focus will be to learn Commercial Vinyl installation. You will be working under the supervision of an expert and experienced tradesman and will learn all aspects of the industry.

To be considered for this position you must be:

Eager to learn
Good physical fitness to move heavy stock for laying
Committed and reliable
Good interpersonal skills in respect of customer interaction
Good eye for detail
Self-motivated and enthusiastic
Able to work alone to a certain degree and problem solve
Have good time management and organisational skills
Be willing to undertake study, leading to a trade qualification

Duties will include:

Site preparation of flooring surfaces
Installation and finishing of all types of floor coverings. Focus will be Commercial Vinyl but will also include carpet and other resilient flooring materials, matching patterns, cutting shapes around fixtures and trimming edges
Pulling up and disposing of existing floor coverings and moving customer furniture

You must also have a current driver’s licence
