Some great items for sale at Homefront Collectables shop 571 at Dirty Jane's today after a restock this morning, including a fabulous Coldstream Guards tunic for a Private. If there is something you like Dirty Janes Canberra is open all weekend.

Some fantastic new items for the shop going in on Friday including a full Royal Australian Armored Corps Mess Dress Uniform for a LTCOL (jacket, vest, cumberbund & trousers) for $110, a WW2 M33 Italian helmet for $120 and a WW2 German Army water bottle for $77.

Some great new Airforce related additions to the cabinet today including a thermos used by WW2 bomber crews, MkVIII flying googles used by WW2 fighter pilots, gauges from a B17 Flying Fortress and a WW1 aircraft recognition booklet. Also added today was a number of WW2 Army items.

Homefront is fully stocked at Dirty Janes. A large consignment of militaria has also just arrived and will be going into the shop over the coming weeks so stay tuned.

Going into the store tomorrow is a fantastic black powder Naval Cannon. The chromed cast iron barrel is 47cm long mounted on a wooden breech carriage. The build is high quality and is most likely a signal/starter cannon. It weighs about 20Kg and is an exceptional piece.

Shop restocked yesterday with fabulous new items including a couple of M1 helmets and British Army badges.

A wonderful framed medal group went into the cabinet today. WW2 medals awarded to LT Wheeler of the British Royal Naval Patrol Service for his service in both the European and African theatre. All original medals and engraved with his details. Its worth noting that campaign medals awarded to UK service personnel during WW2 were not officially named and stamped to the receipient unlike Australia, India and Sth Africa where the RSL in Australia fought the Government of the time to officially name and stamp each Australian medal.
