After a quick stop at an open home on their way to a romantic weekend in Freycinet, the trailblazing duo spent their "getaway" drafting up a business plan with the intention of providing a consultation service to people selling their property. The idea became a business and the consultation service took off as Adam and Donielle helped inexperienced sellers prepare their home for sale - adding a fresh coat of paint, recarpeting, straightening their art and decluttering. As they completed more and more consultancy projects and looked around their own house - that quickly filled with staging furniture in the garage and spare rooms - it became clear; they needed to style homes for sale and at this point, they needed a warehouse! It's not surprising that with Adam's background in advertising, online strategy and business management, coupled with Donielle's passion for styling homes, keen eye for detail and ability to develop a clear vision for every space, they quickly outgrew their first 76 square metre warehouse and now occupy a staggering 1,500 square meters of fully racked warehouse space. Shift specialise in styling vacant properties for sale, aiming to attract a higher sale price for the seller in a shorter amount of time on the market (2020 Hobart data confirmed Shift styled properties sold on average $45,000 higher than asking price and 50% faster than RP data for each area even on the background of COVID19). In addition Shift offers styling consultation services to assist clients in styling their property that they live in or refreshing the space for sale. We often sell our styling stock to purchasers of the home and by request from our images on both Facebook and Instagram.
