Established in 2022, all our products are 100% handmade by our female-owned and operated studio. Our certified and qualified candle artists leverage their experience with Korean and Japanese styles to create incredible products from

our home studio in Australia. The end result is a beautiful collection of hand-poured items perfected by many trials and quality checks before being carefully wrapped and packaged to ship to clients all over the globe. Whether you want a fresh aromatic experience from our candles, a beautifully handcrafted trinket tray for your bedroom, or wish to learn the traditions of plaster design and candle artistry, our artisans at Matse Studio are here to deliver!

We are packing up our candles and heading your way — we cannot wait to see you! 🌿 Join us for a hands-on Cactus Candle Workshop, where you will decorate your very own cactus candles to take home. 🌵✨

This workshop is all-ages friendly — perfect for children, teenagers, and adults alike! Whether you are a seasoned crafter or trying something creative for the first time, everyone is welcome. 💛

We are back — softly and with hearts full.
After taking a little pause to settle into our new chapter in Sydney, we are excited to return to Adelaide for a few special workshops. 💛

It’s time for a new chapter —

Some of you may already know this, but we wanted to share that Matse Studio will be running in Adelaide until May as we relocate to Sydney. We only have a few spots left for bookings before we officially say goodbye to Adelaide! 🥺✈️

Reflecting on our journey, we are filled with so much gratitude. From September last year until now, we have held over 85 workshops. We have been so lucky to partner with amazing people, like with , on our unforgettable workshop sessions. We have also participated over 10 markets during the Christmas season over the past two years, and it’s all been so much fun! 🎢

We can’t thank all of you enough for your incredible support, kind words, and for being part of this amazing journey. We truly wouldn’t be here without every single one of you.

A special shout-out to all the lovely people at .rundle.collective who made this experience even more memorable. We will forever be grateful to have met so many amazing and talented souls here! 💙
