We heard the craziest thing… 😂

Apparently we source and buy-in our bakes. 😳

I wish! Seriously, that would be fantastic news if there was a whole team of bakers somewhere that I didn’t know about, magically stocking our cabinet. 😂

But the reality is…

I make them. ALL of them. 👋🏻

Everything in our cabinet, on it and around it is made by me.

I actually made the cabinets too.

In fact, from the ground up, my wife and I have designed, built, painted and styled the whole shebang.

Now, this is not a gold-star appeal… but if there is one up for grabs, the macarons, the choux, the cheesecakes, the cakes, the cookies, the biscuits, they’re all made from scratch by me. 👋🏻

No extra hands.
No assistant.
And absolutely no one to wash my dishes. 😂

And to really be in the running for that gold star, my wife does ALL of the flowers herself too.

The early morning market runs, hand-picking every individual flower, online and phone order enquiries, deliveries and everything in between.

So, it’s just the two of us.

Two people.
Two pairs of hands.
One very full schedule.

So, if you’ve ever wondered who makes our goodies…it’s me.

And the flowers? My wife.

And that’s our entire team.

Will we ever expand that one day? Probably. 🤔

But will we continue to make all of our own products?

YES.

So… do we get that gold star? ⭐️😂

Because when you wait for a coffee you need somewhere to sit. And while you sit you need something nice to look at. Wouldn’t you agree? Busy day for us today, usual 4.30am Monday morning start for us. Open from 10 tomorrow. See you then! 💐

We’ve noticed quite a few new faces/followers lately, so we thought we’d take a moment to say…WELCOME!
For all our new followers, we’re Little Bakes & Blooms. A small shop in the main street of Moonta where cake and flowers come together and are soon to be joined by coffee!
There’s been A LOT happening behind the scenes recently, we’ve renovated, we’ve reconfigured and we’ve been training. All of this together will be bringing a new look, feel and experience for our customers so keep watching this space because we’re closer than ever to being done 💪🏻
So whether you’re here for the macarons, the cakes, the flowers, the coffee or just to follow along
