This Napolean III Crapaud chair came to us via Daylesford and now sits comfortable in the corner of a home in South Gippsland.

Our client fell in love with the chair in it's "deconstructed" stage and commissioned us to fix the frame of the chair and upholster it again in the white calico.

We don't often get to use our traditional upholstery skills so when we get the chance we jump on it and do a happy jig.

But before we can transform this chair, we need to take it apart and fix it's bones.

I can't wait to show you the finished (or deconstructed) look.

The new business cards have come in. Yay! I

It wasn't until I had to write my business details on a scrap piece of paper to hand to a potential client that I realised that I was clear out of them.

Luckily we use Moo Print, who have our details already and was able to send a stack straight away.

It's been a busy year for us at Eclectic Boogaloo and I am constantly working hard to get the jobs done for our lovely clients. This year has been particularly busy and I have often worked late and on weekends to reach my goals. And whilst this has been great for the business, it's not great for the balance in my life.

So I am going to put a few things in place to rectify this.

1. Work with my business partner, .eclectic.boogaloo , to better plan our jobs. He is the king of strategic planning and I often forget to lean on his expertise to help me with this part of my job.

2. Plan for more breaks. Spend more time with friends and family. Take walks and breathe in fresh air. "Fill up my cup"

So this weekend it is tools down. I've booked some time off for a city break to make the most of this long weekend.

See you on Tuesday peeps!

Some things are too good not to share. This project was given to us from one of our repeat clients. This time we were to upholster his Mum's beloved dining chairs. His parents had just moved into a new house and they wanted to continue using the family dining chairs but update it to reflect the modern interior of their new abode.

We covered it in a Zepel fabric (Melton in Rustic) to work in harmony with the terracotta tiles.

Her son, worked on the frames to refresh it.
