ted off growing hydrangeas, fuchsia baskets, natives, and many other general lines. As the climate started changing in Melbourne, George made a decision to explore a new direction in drought tolerant plants, where he found a niche market in Phormium New Zealand Flax and Ornamental Grasses. Phormiums and Ornamental grasses became very popular due to the architectural aspect about them which enhanced modern homes and gardens and required little maintenance, and landscapers loved the instant appeal when they were mass planted. The latest project that we have introduced is our new Espalier Nursery. Espalier is the art of training plants to grow flat against a wall supported on a lattice, framework or fence. Our Espalier fruit trees are a must for anyone seeking to fill up small garden space with a controlled yet beautiful plant variety.

30 years of Bundameer 🌿

Today we gathered around the table for a long lunch with our beautiful team to celebrate an incredible milestone - 30 years of Bundameer Nursery.

Warwick spent the morning smoking meat, while Samie put together a spread filled with homegrown produce from the garden and homemade sourdough. We feasted, shared stories and memories from over the years, and enjoyed plenty of good old belly laughs along the way.

What started 30 years ago has grown into something we are incredibly proud of, and we know none of it would have been possible without the people around us.

Warwick, Sam, and George (who is currently galavanting around Australia 🚐) would like to sincerely thank all of our wonderful staff, loyal customers, and valued suppliers who have supported Bundameer over the years and helped make this milestone possible.

Here’s to celebrating the past 30 years and looking forward to what’s still to come 🤍

Advanced tree season has been in full swing at 🌳 From January through to May, we’ve been proud to see premium-quality advanced trees heading out to projects and stores across Victoria. Strong structure, healthy growth, excellent presentation, and consistency across the board — exactly what we strive for with every plant that leaves the nursery. A massive effort goes into producing stock at this level, and it’s rewarding to see the quality speaking for itself.
