About Us

Lighting Options was established on Melbourne’s Mornington Peninsula by Rick Murphy in 2000. At that time Light Emitting Diodes were only just beginning to be developed. they were only then being considered as the next viable mainstream light source. Prior to that LED’s were unable to produce sufficient light output.

During this time we have designed lighting layouts for architects, builders and home owners (mostly high end residential) we then on supply products to enhance our lighting designs.

With our knowledge and experience we select only quality products from the most reputable suppliers. Our projects and products are varied and unique; many have been featured in magazines such as Grand Designs, Home Design etc.
