Beautifully tailored to fit. 🤎

When windows aren’t standard, custom solutions make all the difference.

These made-to-measure Roman blinds in Nettex Salamanca fabric follow the unique angles of this beautiful window space, creating a cohesive, understated finish that complements the natural timber and warm tones of the home.

Soft texture, considered detailing and a perfectly tailored fit — a timeless window furnishing solution designed around the home, not the other way around.

Not every installation we do is about making a statement. Some are simply about solving a problem — and doing it well.

These roller shutters may not be as glamorous as some of our architectural shading projects, but they have an important place in the right home or building.

Perfect for shift workers and light sleepers, roller shutters can help:
• Reduce outside noise 🌙
• Block out light for better daytime sleep
• Improve insulation and help keep heat in or out
• Add an extra layer of security when required
• Provide privacy and complete light control

We install a lot of roller shutters in commercial and practical applications, where performance, durability and functionality matter just as much as aesthetics.

Because sometimes the best shading solution isn’t the prettiest one — it’s the one that does exactly what you need it to.

A beautiful example of how custom design meets precision craftsmanship. ✨

This space called for a custom-bent curtain track, allowing the Wave Fold curtains to flow seamlessly around the room. Finished in Odin, the softly textured fabric brings warmth, softness and an understated sense of luxury, while the continuous wave creates beautifully consistent folds from every angle.

Thoughtful detailing, tailored to the space and designed to work effortlessly with the architecture — exactly what custom window furnishings should be.

🎄 CHRISTMAS CUT-OFFS ARE HERE — ACT NOW.

If you’re hoping to have your window furnishings or outdoor living spaces finished before Christmas, this is your sign to get moving.

Our Christmas production cut-offs are coming in thick and fast, and it’s not just indoor window furnishings. Curtains, blinds and shutters are all competing for production time, while awnings, outdoor blinds and other exterior shading solutions also need to be planned, manufactured and installed.

And just as importantly, our installation team has limited capacity heading into the end of the year. Once our production and installation schedules are full, we simply can’t add more jobs.

So if Christmas is your deadline, don’t wait until November.

✨ Get in touch this week to arrange your measure and consultation, finalise your selections and secure your place in the production and installation schedule.

There’s something effortlessly luxurious about these gorgeous navy pleated patio shades. 💙

Two individual units sit side by side, each operating completely independently, giving our clients the flexibility to shade one section, both, or open them up completely depending on the time of day and where the sun is sitting.

The deep navy fabric works beautifully against the crisp white structure and lush greenery, creating a refined outdoor space that feels both practical and considered.

Flexible shade, beautiful design and outdoor living made easy.

Outdoor living, thoughtfully enclosed. ✨

An outdoor kitchen should be enjoyed in every season — but protecting it from the elements is just as important as designing it beautifully.

For this space, exterior aluminium shutters create a refined layer of protection while allowing the kitchen to remain open, light and connected to the outdoors.

Aluminium was the considered choice here: durable, low maintenance and designed to withstand Australia’s changing conditions, without compromising on the clean architectural lines of the home.

Because when it comes to exterior shutters, quality matters. The right materials, construction and finish provide the durability and protection needed to perform beautifully outdoors, helping to create a more comfortable, functional space that can be enjoyed for years to come.

At Shades of Australia Mornington, we believe the best results come from choosing products that are designed for the environment they’re being installed in — beautifully considered, built to perform and made to last.
