What do Stage 4 Restrictions mean for Colour Change Painting?
- Yes! We can continue to work during this time. We are permitted to work on existing job site with registered builders. Our builders all have CovidSafe Plans in place, which we have been provided.
- We'll be spread out across three jobs in Flinders, McCrae & Sorrento.
- With 5 people max. allowed on site, we have spread across the three jobs which allows other trades to continue.
- We all have active permits, permitting our work to continue.
- We are now more organised than ever and thinking ahead with regards to materials needed, ensuring they are ordered well in advance and can be delivered or collected (contactless) on our way to work. We are even bringing lunches to site with us, meaning once we arrive, we don't need to leave.
- We are following very strict social distancing rules, are wearing face masks and coverings, and are regularly hand sanitising.
- We are in the process of making provisions for the possibility of working from home to complete a large quantity of steel work.
- Unfortunately, we have had to put on hold all of the private repaints that were scheduled during this time. These will commence as soon as we are able.
