Moody sunnies 😎

The current trend for Sunflowers is to pluck out their bright yellow petals leaving just the seedy looking floret filled head as the feature.

I gave it a try today and I think I like it! I paired them with some Banksia stems and pods, an Orchid, some grasses and a bit of preserved Hydy.

What do you think? Yeah or nah?

Back home from my European sojourn.

Lucky to see flowers wherever I went. The Hydrangeas (especially in the UK) are next level. Massive, firm flower heads covering the bushes. I can’t get mine to grow like that!

And the bees - the fat, fluffy bumble bees so busy with their work. I loved them. 🐝🐝

Back to reality now. It’s always nice to come home.
