CLEANING TIP FOR MAY:
Are you tired of being unable to see through the glass door of your fire. Here's the way to make your glass clear again (without a lot of elbow grease).
You will need some cloudy ammonia, rubber gloves, clean cloth rags and a small plastic bag to dispose of the cloth rags in when done.
1. Make sure that your fireplace is cold and use a well ventilated area.
2. Put on the rubber gloves and tip some cloudy ammonia onto a clean rag/cloth and wipe the inside of the glass. It really does remove (sometimes years) of build-up quickly and easily.
3. When all of the residue is removed finish by polishing with a clean rag/cloth to dry.
4. Dispose of all of the dirty cloths/rags in the plastic bag and seal.
