A repeat client recently pulled me out of retirement to make a special pop for a 30th birthday. He had a pastel taste in clothing, very specific shoes and piercings, tattoos, bleached curls and reddish facial hair. Even though I got sick and had to put the project on hold for a while, we got it done in time for his arrival and I'm happy with how he turned out, considering I haven't done one in about two years.

hey followers, I've taken quite the hiatus haven't I?
Well 2025 I'm making a comeback. I'll do realistic timeframes though, so at least 6 weeks notice for commissions. And I'll branch out into more diverse creations.

WATCH THIS SPACE. Not too much though. I'm still on hiatus until the end of the year. :)

Just a heads up that after 2 rounds of COVID in the last 6 months I'm taking a longer hiatus than anticipated. I'm working on getting better but to save people from disappointment I won't be taking on any commissions for the foreseeable future. Instead if I do have the energy for personal projects, then I'll update the page more as a blog than anything.
The only other non-work related job I'm managing is with the Fantasy Medieval Fair which is coming in April, so please show some love and get your tickets to that, because it is a fantastic event for Mount Gambier, and we all volunteer our time to put it together.

My studio is still not fully setup, but I cleared the chaos enough to pull out my cricut and make myself this tshirt. It's a ♡ Jungkook from BTS hand heart.

Just to let people know I will be focusing on private projects only for a while. Things that are easy on my hands. We've been setting up my studio in a new room since July. Covid and then arthritis flare ups have hampered progress and I need to minimise the stress I'm feeling over it all. So for the foreseeable future I'm only making stuff for me where I can take my time. I look forward to getting back into the groove one day, but it won't be for a while.

I'm looking forward to coming back to my crafts soon. Two festivals in two months have taken a year of planning, but soon I'll have time for the other creative things I love to do! Post festival I will set up a new studio and plan to get my resin printer cracking, finally master my airbrush and also see what I can do with my new Cricut maker 3.
For now though, here's a sneak peek at the Firbolg ears I made. To buy some on ETSY I was looking at $100 plus, so hey, I made mine instead! You'll see plenty of photos of the full getup after this weekend's Fantasy Medieval Fair.
