EVER HOUSE | Trusting the process.

It can be hard to imagine the final outcome when standing within a space that feels so pared back. The stone is laid, the walls are painted, and while the bones of the home are now clearly defined, many of the layers that will bring personality and warmth are yet to emerge.

The flat lay offers a glimpse into the colours, patterns and materiality that will soon find their place throughout the home, telling a very different story to what exists on site today.

This is often the quietest stage of a project. The joinery, lighting, fabrics and furnishings are still to come, but each has been carefully considered from the beginning. Layer by layer, these elements will build upon the foundation now taking shape.

We’re excited to see Ever House continue its journey.

EVER HOUSE | Site Visit.

The stone is complete, the walls are painted, and the home is moving into a new stage of the journey.

The foundational layers are now in place, creating the backdrop for the details still to come. As each new element is introduced, the home moves closer to reflecting the vision established from the very beginning.

EVER HOUSE | A forever home.

When we last shared Ever House, it was still at framing stage. Now, while the palette remains restrained, the walls are in place and the stonework is starting to emerge, introducing the first layers of texture and detail.

At this stage, the design remains quiet, but its intent is becoming more defined. Materiality takes the lead, revealing how each element will shape the home’s overall atmosphere.

Every detail is being considered with care, and it’s been a privilege to see this family home take form, growing into a place that will hold both everyday rituals and lasting memories.

MARTINIQUE | Functional beauty.

A home shaped by flow and cohesion, where even the most practical spaces are considered as part of a broader design narrative. The laundry is no exception, seamlessly connecting daily rituals with the experience of thoughtful design.

Custom joinery, unlacquered brass, and artisanal tiles come together in quiet harmony, each material chosen for its ability to age with grace and bring enduring value over time.

MARTINIQUE | The Pineapple Room.

A reminder that the most meaningful interiors are not defined by aesthetics alone, but by the stories they hold.

Rooted in memory, this space is designed to hold our clients’ most treasured keepsakes, from music boxes and family heirlooms to generational photo albums. Each piece contributes to a layered and deeply personal narrative.

Curated rather than staged, the room feels authentic and enduring. It moves beyond decoration, becoming a place of connection, reflection, and quiet familiarity.

MARTINIQUE | Intentional layering.

Rug layering is a considered approach that introduces scale while building depth, texture, and warmth underfoot. It anchors the living space with a sense of softness and cohesion, allowing each element to sit comfortably within the broader composition.

A subtle demonstration of KWD’s philosophy, where impact is achieved through thoughtful, deliberate design rather than extravagance.
